This app is available on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store).

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the FieldOps Pro application ("the Service") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Definitions

Application refers to FieldOps Pro, the software program provided by the Company, available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple App Store).
Company (referred to as "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Uddeshya Technology Private Limited, Mondeal Heights, B-209, Wide Angle Cinema, Ramdev Nagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015, India.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a mobile phone or tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Data We Collect

Location Data

FieldOps Pro collects location data to provide core field operations functionality. Specifically:

Precise location — We collect your device's precise GPS coordinates to track field activity, log job site visits, and provide accurate location-based reporting.
Approximate location — We also use approximate, network-based location when GPS is unavailable.
Background location — With your explicit permission, the app collects location data while running in the background. This is used to continuously track field activity during active work shifts, even when the app is not open on screen. This data is used solely for operational tracking and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

You can revoke location permissions at any time via your device's Settings > Privacy / Permissions > Location. Revoking location permission will limit real-time tracking features.

Camera

The app uses camera access for face attendance verification and photo capture during field documentation. The camera is only accessed when you actively use these features. Photos are stored locally and/or uploaded to your organisation's account and are not used for advertising.

Microphone

The app uses microphone access to support walkie-talkie communication and voice-based field reporting (in future updates). The microphone is only accessed when you actively use a voice feature. We do not record audio in the background without your knowledge. Audio data is stored locally and/or uploaded to your organisation's account and is not used for advertising.

iOS-Specific Permissions

On iOS, we access the following with your permission:

Location Services — for field tracking and geofence validation
Camera — for face attendance and photo capture
Microphone — for walkie-talkie communication, in future updates

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically and may include your device's IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app usage diagnostics.

How We Use Your Data

To provide real-time field tracking and job site management features.
To generate shift reports, trip logs, and operational analytics for your organisation.
To maintain and improve the Service.
To contact you regarding service updates or security notices.
To manage your account and organisational access.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

With your organisation — Location and activity data is visible to authorised administrators within your organisation's account.
Service Providers — We use trusted third-party services for hosting and analytics who are contractually bound to protect your data.
Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil legal obligations. Location history and activity logs are retained for the period defined by your organisation's account settings. You may request deletion at any time.

Data Storage

Data is stored locally on your device and securely transmitted to our servers over HTTPS. On iOS, data is stored using device storage and securely transmitted over HTTPS. We do not use App Tracking Transparency as we do not track users across other apps or websites.

Your Rights

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Withdraw consent for location or microphone permissions via device settings at any time.
Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where required, via in-app notification.
